What Do You Do When Traditional Landscaping Doesn’t Cut It? You Call in the Goats!

For the second year in a row, we proudly partnered with Goat Busters, a Charlottesville-based company known for its four-legged landscaping crew, to help clear an overgrown area behind our corporate headquarters, with thick vegetation and tightly packed tree growth, the area laughs in the face of lawn mowers.

With dense undergrowth and curious critters abound, it makes it tough to manage this 5-acre area. Enter Goat Busters, whose goats are nature’s best weed-whackers and don’t have the noise, fumes, and carbon emissions that traditional machinery requires.

According to Goat Busters’ owner Jace Goodling, a single goat can chow down on five to nine percent of its body weight in greenery every single day. That’s a lot of leafy goodness. Better yet, goats don’t just clear brush—they naturally fertilize the soil, reduce the need for harsh chemicals, and tread gently on the land. It’s low-impact, high-reward landscaping, and we’re here for it.

Entertaining and Eco-Friendly
